Installation
All version of Windows
- If .NET Framework 1.1 is not already installed you must install it. Please note you do not need to uninstall any existing .NET framework as they are all separate Frameworks that co-exist side-by-side. (i.e. .NET Frameworks 2, 3 or 4 do not include .NET 1) You can get .NET 1.1 from here:
Windows 7 & Vista

You must be logged on as an administrator and do one of the following:
- Right-click on the TB shortcut on your desktop and enable the "Compatibility for Windows XP Service Pack 3" feature
- Windows 7: Start->Control Panel->System and Security->Action Center->Change UAC Settings
- Windows Vista: Start > Control Panel > User Accounts (under Classic View). On this screen click "Turn User Account Control on or off," then uncheck the box on the following screen.
or
Set the User Account Control (UAC) to the minimum level.
Windows XP SP2
For Interactive Brokers users
- The Java Runtime Engine (JRE) 1.5 or higher
- TWS Standalone client 925.6b (later or previous releases may not work)
You do not need to install the TWS API components.
Please note that the TWS Web Trader client does not work with TradeBullet. - Please make sure the 'Save settings on server' box is not checked in the TWS login window (it will prevent TB from automatically logging-on)
- You must enable socket clients to connect to the TWS API:
From TWS, click on Configure -> API -> Trusted IP Addresses -> Create
then enter 127.0.0.1 (or the IP address of the computer that TB is running on) - These TWS API options must also be checked:
->Enable ActiveX and Socket Clients
->Bypass Order Precautions for API Orders
->Include FX positions when sending portfolio - TWS Demo system Username: edemo, Password: demouser
For MB Trading users
Initial Registration
When starting TradeBullet for the first time, you will be prompted to enter your name and email address to prevent unauthorized copies.We have made every effort to make this process as unobtrusive as possible.
Each time TradeBullet starts, it will validate this user information and send a hardware fingerprint of your machine.
In no way can we know what hardware you have on your machine from this fingerprint.
This information will be also used for support and subscription issues, so please use an email address you will remember.
