Installation
Windows 7

You must be logged on as an administrator and do one of the following:
- Right-click on the TB shortcut on your desktop and enable the "Compatibility for Windows XP Service Pack 3" feature
- Set Windows7's User Account Control (UAC) to the minimum level. Start->Control Panel->System and Security->Action Center->Change UAC Settings
or
Windows Vista
- You must install and run TradeBullet while logged-on as Administrator. Simply selecting "Run as Administrator" will not work.
- If .NET 1.1 is not already installed you can get it from here:
- .NET Framework 1.1 redistributable package
- .NET framework 1.1 Sp1
- .NET Framework 1.1 Service Pack 1 Security Update
- For automated login to IB's Trader Workstation (TWS), you'll need to Disable Vista's User Account Control (UAC). Click Start > Control Panel > User Accounts (under Classic View). On this screen click "Turn User Account Control on or off," then uncheck the box on the following screen.
Windows XP SP2
For Interactive Brokers users
- The Java Runtime Engine (JRE) 1.6
- TWS Standalone client 906.9 (later or previous releases may not work)
You do not need to install the API components.
Please note that the TWS web client does not work with TradeBullet.
Previous versions of TWS will work but may need to be started manually. - Please make sure the 'Save settings on server' box is not checked in the TWS login window (it will prevent TB from automatically logging-on)
- You must enable socket clients to connect to the TWS API:
From TWS, click on Configure -> API -> Trusted IP Addresses -> Create
then enter 127.0.0.1 (or the IP address of the computer that TB is running on) - These TWS API options must also be checked:
"Download Open Orders on Connection"
"Enable ActiveX and Socket Clients"
"Bypass Order Precautions for API Orders" - TWS Demo system Username: edemo, Password: demouser
For MB Trading users
Initial Registration
When starting TradeBullet for the first time, you will be prompted to enter your name and email address to prevent unauthorized copies.We have made every effort to make this process as unobtrusive as possible.
Each time TradeBullet starts, it will validate this user information and send a hardware fingerprint of your machine.
In no way can we know what hardware you have on your machine from this fingerprint.
This information will be also used for support and subscription issues, so please use an email address you will remember.
