What the Replicator can do for for you©
The Replicator allows you to send TradeStation 8 signals to multiple targets such as Collective2 and multiple TradeBullet instances, each connected to a different brokerage account.
This means you can:
- Send TradeStation orders to multiple accounts, even at different brokers.
- Publish TradeStation signals to C2 (sell your signals!) and trade them locally in your brokerage account.
- Run TradeStation on its own dedicated computer while TradeBullet handles the actual trading on a separate computer for the best possible execution speed.
Please note the Replicator does not support TradeStation 2000i
How do I publish my TradeStation signals to C2?
- Follow the instructions in the "TradeStation8 Setup" section of the TradeBullet User Guide (see TradeBullet -> Help)
- Follow the instructions in the "How to setup TradeBullet with the Replicator" section of the User Guide
- Download and set up the C2Tray application
- Add the C2Tray application's port number to the Replicator's client port list. This port must be different than 25
All TradeStation signals will then be sent to both TradeBullet and the C2Tray application. The amazing thing is you can trade your TradeStation strategies directly in your live account and publish some (or all!) your strategies to C2 and subscribe to your own C2 system by sending the orders to a Simulation account! This means you will see firsthand what your subscribers experience and you can compare their fills with your live fills, see how fast they are getting orders, etc.
How do I send TradeStation signals to separate brokerage accounts?
- Follow the instructions in the "TradeStation8 Setup" section of the TradeBullet User Guide (see TradeBullet -> Help)
- Follow the instructions in the "How to setup TradeBullet with the Replicator" section of the User Guide
How do I trade some TradeStation strategies on one account and different TradeStation strategies on another account?
- Follow the instructions in the "TradeStation8 Setup" section of the TradeBullet User Guide (see TradeBullet -> Help)
- Follow the instructions in the "How to setup TradeBullet with the Replicator" section of the User Guide
- In TradeStation, create one workspace per brokerage account and make sure you specify the account in the workspace name (See the "TradeStation Workspace Naming" section of the User Guide)
- Set up your symbol mappings in the TradeStation tab's "Symbol Mapping" button
You can have any number of charts per workspace and all signals generated in a workspace will only be traded in the account specified.
How do I set it up so TradeBullet runs on a different computer than TradeStation?
- Follow the instructions in the "TradeStation8 Setup" section of the TradeBullet User Guide (see TradeBullet -> Help)
- Follow the instructions in the "How to setup TradeBullet with the Replicator" section of the User Guide
- In the TradeStation TradeManager email setup, instead of LOCALHOST enter the IP of the computer where TradeBullet is running
- From the Replicator Tools menu, instead of LOCALHOST (127.0.0.1) enter the IP of the computer where TradeBullet is running. This IP usually starts with 192.168
Please note that TradeBullet and the Replicator must be running on the same computer.
